Route

Their vehicle

It is a Toyota KDJ95 from 2001

After several years on the road and 320,000 km on the clock, it needs some mechanical attention.
The biggest work concerns the changing of the shock absorbers, the springs and some silent blocks, and steering rods and ball joints.
For more peace of mind, the accessory belt and the alternator will be changed.

After the mechanical work, they are going to fit out the vehicle so that it is autonomous in the middle of Africa.
In addition to the roof tent, the interior will be fitted out with storage and an extra bed.
There will be a shower and an outdoor kitchen, a water supply and a solar electric installation for audiovisual equipment and PCs.
The layout will be designed to live mostly outside the vehicle, given the African climate.
