12V T-MAX dual battery system

The T-Max split battery charger is one of the most efficient on the market. It allows you to charge 2 batteries simultaneously and protects the starter battery from discharge. Its technical specifications include a supported voltage range of 8 to 16 volts, a continuous charge at 250 amperes, an operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C, and IP40 waterproof.

Operating principle:

  • Vehicle in motion: the primary battery is prioritised for charging, and when it reaches a voltage of 13.6 volts, the auxiliary battery connects in parallel.
  • Vehicle at a standstill: both batteries are used in parallel to make the most of their capacities. When their common voltage drops to 12.6 volts, the primary battery disengages. The current consumption of various devices occurs exclusively from the auxiliary battery.
