A few words from the organisers
The Rally des Dames de Coeur 2024 went really well!
We greeted the participants at the Château de Dree (71) this year for the administrative and technical checks.
There were 10 teams - 20 women from all over France and one British team. The welcome briefing took place in Matour (71) on Thursday evening, with the presentation of the teams.
On Friday and Saturday with magnificent weather, there was a road book rally on the beautiful roads of the Haut Beaujolais and Mâconnais regions. The course wasn’t easy, as the roads were waterlogged, but with a lot of determination, everyone made it to the end. The aim was to follow the road book and take on the challenges at the various checkpoints, which everyone did with a great deal of humour.
The rally closed with the prize-giving ceremony and a wonderful evening to honour these wonderful women who came to raise funds for the screening and treatment of breast and female cancers. They left delighted by the experience and the magnificent scenery of the region.
We will be donating the profits from this rally in July to the Medical Research Foundation.
