Performance Transfer case cradle for Suzuki

In 2012, Low Range Off-Road set out to make the best transfer case cradle for the Suzuki Samurai. In 2014, after 2 years of development and testing they came up with a solution that became a bestseller.

Low Range's efforts were motivated by repeated transfer case breakage after installing low range t-case gears. The factory brackets are made of thin sheet metal with only 4 points of contact on each side of the case. High torque situations or simply letting out the clutch too fast in low range can cause the mounts to bend, which in turn causes pulling or breaking of the soft aluminium transfer case.  In addition, the factory brackets attach to the frame itself in only 3 places creating additional vulnerability. Other aftermarket cradles do not address the transfer case's rigidity problems and use only factory mounting locations to attach their cradle to the case.

So what sets this cradle apart from the competition?

Low Range started from scratch and made a mount with 17 points of contact to the transfer case. The transfer case has a full circle backbone that distributes torque around the whole case. The added strength means a dramatically reduced risk of t-case breakage and extends the gear life.

To address the weak bracket that mounts to the frame in only 3 places, they added a 4th frame mount location on the cradle arm. This reduces the chances of the frame breaking at the mount points - a common occurrence with the Samurai.

Other features include:

·  Compatible with Low Range’s Samurai transfer case e-brake (SB-EBK-LR)

·  A lower skid plate to protect the transfer case from trail abrasion

·  All necessary hardware included- even the necessary drill bits

·  CNC laser cut, CNC press bent, hand MIG welded

·  Zinc plated for corrosion resistance

If you have low range transfer case gears installed, we highly recommend this transfer case mount, it will save you money! Going without it is a risky gamble.
