A Supreme event!
King of Wales ( ex King of the Valleys) is a superb UK 4x4 challenge inspired by the world famous US competition King of Hammers, held every year in Johnson Valley, California (USA).
This is the forth edition of this fabulous competition which is part of the Ultra4 Europe series. King of Wales is on the 6th to the 9th of August and attracts competitors from all over Europe and the US. The competition is at the Walters Arena motorsport complex near Glyn Neath, South Wales and offers over 80 miles of competition.
Teams will be facing up to a tough course which features the most diverse range of terrain available.... from high-speed rally tracks and woodland trails to riverbeds and rock staircases. The whole aim, as with the King of the Hammers, is not simply to be the fastest but to survive the weekend and the format ensures that there can be no forgone conclusions about who, or what type of vehicle, will emerge victorious.
