This kit is designed specifically for the Land Rover Defender fitted with the Ford 2.4 l TD engine produced from 2007 to 2015. These engines are fitted with the Getrag MT82 6-speed manual gearbox which suffers from a major weakness. The output shaft which connects the drive between the gearbox and the transfer box can wear out due to a simple lack of lubrication.

- a new flange modified to let the oil leak out of the main box to the splines
