25 years of courage and sharing!
Old fashion orientation and the pleasure of driving without watching the clock? Yes it exists - this rally is the proof!
This rally isn’t a simple outing; it’s a real competition where you have to deal with the weather and the desert.
This rally has a different vision: no speed, no SatNav but instead traditional navigation and entirely off-road. The Gazelles must complete the course passing by the check points in a minimum amount of kilometres, rather than in a minimum amount a time. They can choose to cross or bypass the mountains, go over or around the dunes.
They’re given a road-book for each stage to discover the day’s route.
With the help of a compass and a 1:100,000 scale map, they plot their route and plan their itinerary.
Solidarity
Organised by Maïenga, The rally puts its strength and its image to the service of all though the Coeur de Gazelles, a registered non-profit making organization that has existed since 2001. This is a rally with a purpose.
Coeur de Gazelles works with the Moroccan Government on projects whose needs have been assessed and calculated. Distribution of warm clothes for the winter, children’s shoes, hygiene products and finally toys that bring joy to many families!
