Five years, five continents and five senses!
"Live your dreams, don’t dream about your life!", That's what matters to Philip and Eva!
Hungry for adventure, the couple decided "to change their lives, assume their choices and travel into the unknown."
They will be away for five years, visiting five continents and living their adventure to the full using their five senses!
They will be aboard a Defender TD130 fitted with a living cell, which they’ve called the Zébramobile. These "strange Zebras" have worked hard to created a "home" which will allow them to go anywhere!
Eva and Philippe plan to leave on the Zébratour on the 15th of June 2016!

2018
February-March
Our friends are in Malaysia and they've been reunited with the Zebramobile.
They visited the island of Penang and now they’re in George Town, where Philippe will stay for a month, while Eva goes back to France to visit the family.
January
Philippe & Evahave had a set back , they are in the Philippines but without a vehicle!
After encountering numerous difficulties trying to send their vehicle by ferry to the Philippines , they decided to send it by Roll on Roll off directly to Malaysia, where they expect to find it at the end of January!
This hasn’t stopped them from discovering some amazing places.
2017
November & December - South Korea and Philippines
October - November - Japan, at last!
September - Russia
Philippe and Eva spent 5 weeks in Russia. There wasn’t much time to go sightseeing as they were busy working on the defender.
Next stage : Japan !
July - August - Mongolia
May-June: Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan
March-May : still in the Arab Emirates !
February & March : Oman & Dubai
End of December - January 2017 - Iran
A superb country, where our travellers have met some beautiful people and discovered the legendary hospitality of the Iranians. A few problems with the vehicle, but everything is back in order!
Next stop: Dubai (February 2017)
October - November 2016 – From Turkey to the Middle East!
After three enriching months spent in Greece, where the couple met some beautiful people and enjoyed the magnificent landscapes, they are now off to Turkey.
Next stages: Iran, Oman and Saudi Arabia.

October - November - Turkey and then on to the Middle East!
Our travellers spent three months in the magnificent landscapes of Greece, A time full of enriching experiences and beautiful encounters. They are now off to Turkey.
Next stops: Iran, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
August 2016 - Greece (and for a while ...)
Philippe and Eva have been held up in Greece, they haven’t got a choice.
Their original plan was to travel through Turkey on their way to Iran, but that is impossible for now.
A change of plan was needed, but some borders are closed (between Russia and Ukraine), and other routes have climatic or security drawbacks.
They have decided to go through Bulgaria then take the ferry across the Black Sea to Russia. From there they will travel to Kazakhstan and eventually to Iran.
They will apply for their visas in Bulgaria.
The "Strange Zebras" are on the road! After the south of France and a brief stint in Italy, our friends are off to discover the wonders of Croatia!
July 2016
Let’s meet them!
Philippe, 52 is passionate about architecture, design and travel. After a demanding professional life, he decided it was time to take a "break" and discover the wonderful world around us.
Eva, 41, is determined to give a new meaning to her life and intends to live her dream to travel to the full!
For several years they have been creating and commercialising customisable articles. The production is in India and is run by an NOG that uses recyclable materials and an ethical and responsible approach.
It’s important for them to get back to the essential in life. During their trip they will be eco-volunteers for NGOs and associations.
