4x4 Travel - Wokipi Trip

Between the earth and the sky

Wokipi will be using an alternative way to photograph the world, kites or solar balloon.

Patrick and Patricia have had the travel virus for a long time, but it was not until 2011 that they finally managed to set up the first part of their trip, to Central Asia.

Now, after various preparations, it is the turn of West Africa.

A journey that will last 5 months, from November 2016 to April 2017. A journey during which they will photograph the world, from on high with their feet firmly on the ground, allowing them to meet people along the way.

The couple will introduce us to the world of kites and balloons through their experiences and their aerial photographs.

Apart from the so-called "classical" travel photographs, they will take aerial photographs from kites or solar balloons, depending on weather conditions.

The ideal vehicle for this trip is Woki, a specially adapted Toyota HZJ78, big enough to transport all  their gear.

Who are they?
