For the Nomad Family, Alexandre, Emmanuelle and their three children travelling is a way of life.
For the next two years, aboard a converted Defender 130 the family will be discovering the American continent !
They will crisscross America, from the North to the South, with no particular itinerary, guided by their encounters and adventures. Making the most of the landscapes, and above all showing their children how beautiful and vast the world is.
What a beautiful adventure!
The departure is planned for June 2017, two years of Adventure, with a big "A"!

They are called Alexandre and Emmanuelle, and their children Lou, Ewen and Leya who are between 4 and 8 years old.
They are not on their first trip, far from it!
The idea of a long-distance journey has been germinating in their minds for a number of years, and now it’s a reality!

The vehicle
It’s a Land Rover Defender 130, 300 TDi from 1998.
Without air conditioning or electronics, it’s rustic but reliable.
It will be equipped with a Loge Mobile cell with a liftable roof, space for 5 will be somewhat restricted, but optimised and pleasant to live in. And then, as they say: "the garden’s big !!"
Route
This itinerary is temporary, and it will certainly vary, but it is the one that the Nomad Family hopes to realize.
- Canada (2 or 3 months)
- USA (2 or 3 months)
- Mexico (1 or 2 months)
- Central America (3 months)
- South America: no itinerary for the moment.
