Aboard her Toyota Land Cruiser, she’ll be travelling all over Australia, 40,000 km of tracks, forests and fabulous landscapes. It’s not only a sporting challenge, Laurie will be filming a series of reports that will be shown on TV and Internet.

October – Final preparations in Sydney !

Laurie has arrived in Australia and has been getting to know this beautiful country.

She's in Sydney buying the last pieces of equipment that she needs and doing some mechanical work on her vehicle. She's also been checking out the area before heading out on the sandy red tracks !

Let’s meet her.

Laurie Pottecher is 29 and lives on the island of Saint Barthélemy. She is a sports instructor and underwater video photographer. Another of her skills is driving. She is a driver and co-driver on circuits, rallies and adventure raids.

She’s dreamt of touring Australia in total autonomy for almost ten years and today, this dream becomes reality.

Where?

The journey begins in Perth, on the west coast, then she’ll head southwesterly for a big anti clockwise loop.

Laurie also plans to go through the red centre and cross the Aboriginal Lands.
