4x4 Travel - GrizzlyNBear

Adventurers, climbers and off-roaders!

Here's a great team, Leigh, Stephanie and their Defender 130!

Passionate about Land Rovers and climbing, it's thanks to their 4x4 that they reach their most distant destinations.

Their journey, GrizzlyNBear, is the result of their enthusiasm and willingness to travel the world. So far they have visited nearly 50 countries in search of new adventures and climbing spots.

For the last four years, they have been using a Defender 130 and are currently in Central Asia.

It's a pleasure for us to share their fabulous adventures!

Let's meet them

Leigh is Australian, and Stephanie French.

They met ten years ago, on a climbing trip in southern Thailand.

Since then, these two outdoor adventure addicts have been travelling the world. They are always in search of countries off the tourist maps where they can immerse themselves in new cultures.

Itinerary

The world !!

The couple left two years ago and plan to travel all over Central Asia, arriving in Japan by the end of 2020.

Here is their itinerary from June 2019:

  • Kazakhstan
  • Kyrgyzstan
  • Tajikistan
  • Uzbekistan,
  • Turkmenistan
  • Iran
  • United Arab Emirates
  • Oman
  • Saudi Arabia
  • India

Their vehicle

It's a Land Rover Defender 130 with 130,000km on the clock, but it's got a brand new engine that's only done 15,000km.

The Defender has been converted and is fully equipped to live comfortably in.
