A different way to see Africa in 4x4!
The discovery of this magnificent continent is going to be a very exciting adventure for Benjamin and Manon and what better way to do it than in a 4x4.
They will be tackling the roads and trails of Africa for two years in their Toyota Landcruiser LJ70. On the program is meeting the local populations, volunteer work, and above showing that this magnificent destination has other faces than the preconceived ones we often wrongly imagine!
Departure in early January 2021, for two exciting years!
December - Mauritania
November
Manon & Benjamin have left Morocco, and are on their way to Mauritania!
In total, they spent 312 days crisscrossing this beautiful country, they particularly liked Zagora and Erg Chegaga.
Conclusion: "A crazy experience, a magnificent country, a great start on the African continent."
September
Still in Morocco!
June - July
Manon & Benjamin have been working in an animal shelter in Morocco since mid-March. They adopted Franklin and now the three of them are on the road heading south to Guelmim and Tan-Tan via Tarfaya.
As the Moroccan borders are not open they are enjoying the weather and discovering the country. They’re driving along some rought tracks that had some surprises for them!
April
Manon & Benjamin love Morocco.
They spent the first 2 months in the Zagora and desert region.
They then crossed the country to Agadir to get closer to the coast and spent some time in the mountains.
Currently, they are in Aourir not far from Agadir, where they will probably stay for 3 months, because Morocco has closed its borders.
January - Morocco
Benjamin and Manon have been in Morocco since the beginning of January putting their Toyota through its paces and discovering the area!

This young couple were looking for something to challenge themselves.
Bit by bit Africa gradually imposed itself. They have two aims, one is to discover this supposedly dangerous continent and show it from another angle and the second is to work (workaway or volunteer work) in the majority of the countries they visit.
It's the biggest trip of their life and their greatest project!

Benjamin and Manon are traveling across Africa, from Morocco to Sudan.

Their vehicle
It’s a 1986 Toyota Landcruiser LJ70, with 200,000 km on the clock.
They tested it for a month in Portugal and made a few modifications before leaving.
The Toyota is now their home and should be just what they need for the terrain in Africa. Their travels in Portugal proved to them that this 4x4 can take them anywhere.
