They’re following their dreams, in 4x4!
Lots of us have thought about travelling around the world in a 4x4, but Mathilde and Nicolas have turned their dream into a reality.
They are already experienced travellers but this time they are embarking on a three years journey.
An exciting adventure, aboard their Land Rover Defender 110, which will allow them to explore the world in depth.
All the continents are on the program, with no less than 87 countries!
Their trip should satisfy their thirst for meeting people, experiencing new cultures, and above all discovering the world!
A highly motivated couple, who aren’t scared of a challenge as they say "Nature is within our reach, so let's go!"
They plan to leave on their world trip in April 2022, but before that, they have some trips planned that we can follow now!

They’re leaving the Great North and heading to Germany, where the second part of their great adventure will begin!

First trip before the world tour
1. Faroe Islands & Iceland
They were in the Faroe Islands from July 18th to 21st.
Then, from July 22nd to August 5th, they will be in Iceland.

Let's meet them!
- Nicolas is Franco-Italian and was born in Thailand. He lived in Africa for 6 years, Asia for 12 years, and Europe for ten years. He completed his Masters in International Business in Europe and is currently responsible for the international development of a parking start-up in Paris.
- Mathilde grew up in the Alps. She studied in Europe and America where she lived for two years. She has a master's degree in international relations and is currently working as a program specialist for the United Nations elections in Brussels.

Their vehicle
They bought their Land Rover Defender 110 in 2020. It had spent 7 years in Europe and a year in America. They named it Albatross because an albatross can fly 100,000 km per year, and that's what they intend to do!
It’s a robust vehicle, with a new engine with only 35,000 km on the clock. They have modified and fitted it out, particularly the interior, for more comfort. They've added a roof tent, for more security when they are wild camping.
