Family, freedom, 4x4!
The Goyet family is embarking on this wonderful adventure and they're going to take their time to enjoy every moment of it!
They're going on a 4x4 road trip in a Defender 110 with a trailer that will take them along the roads of South America.
Benoit, Ségolène and their five children are going to take the time to discover other ways of life and other countries and meet people. They're going to take wrong turns and see where it leads them.
For a year, they're going to "dare to be adventurous" and experience as a family a unique journey!
Departure from Montevideo, Uruguay in September 2023 for a year of discoveries, in 4x4 of course!

The 4x4 is on its way to Montevideo, Uruguay and the family is getting ready to join it to start the adventure!
Lets meet them!
Benoît and Ségolèle Goyet and their 5 children are the heart in this wonderful adventure.
Planned route
The journey will start in Montevideo, Uruguay and head due south, towards Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego.
Then it's back to Bolivia then Argentina or Chile, they haven't decided yet. And then Peru, Ecuador and Colombia.
On the way back, there are two options: return to Uruguay via Bolivia and Paraguay, or finish in Colombia.
Their vehicle
After a great deal of thought, they decided on a 4x4 for the trip. They have a 2002 Defender 110 TD5, with a Jack Bushman Explorer trailer.
With the Defender and a trailer, they will be equipped to travel from the Beagle Channel to Colombia via the Bolivian plateaux.
The Defender has 230,000 km on the clock but maintenance won't be a problem, as Benoit is a mechanic in the French Navy!
