We've created a series of video tutorials for you, which we've uploaded to our Euro4x4parts YouTube channel (link: https://www.youtube.com/user/euro4x4parts).

These simple, concise videos were made on our premises by Anthony, Michel and Jun, and will give you an even better understanding of the different mechanical workshops we offer in 4X4XPERT.

Why fit offset bushings?

When you raise the height of a vehicle with a solid front axle by +5cm (or more), you reduce the caster angle which can affect the vehicle's handling. This can result in lighter, floating steering and a tendency to corner more sharply. To compensate for this phenomenon and regain the original balance and driving precision, simply replace the bushings on the front radius arms with offset bushings.

In this article, we'll take you step-by-step through the process of fitting offset bushings to your vehicle.

The offset bushing assembly described here was carried out on a Nissan Patrol Y61 TD6.

This tutorial is valid for a number of 4x4 models fitted with axle tie rods.
