Fast tracks, difficult navigation impossible passages, all it takes to satisfy 4x4 addicts!
In the beautiful unique scenery of Bulgaria, from the 19th to the 26th of September, addiction and adrenaline are guaranteed!
5 years of rally - 5 mountains to cross
This is the motto of the 5th edition of the Balkan Offroad 2015.
Program: 3 to 4 camps, eight days of racing, over 2,000 km of tracks, a unique course where participants will cross the Balkans, Rila, Rhodopes, Sredna Gora and Sakar Mountains.
The finish and the award ceremony will take place on the beautiful southern beach of Varna.
All in the great atmosphere and hospitality of the Bulgarians!

"It was an excellent edition of the Balkan Rally with top class organisation.
The rally started in Borovets, southeast of Sofia, the Bulgarian capital. Followed by a special of 81 km from Bistritsa to Borovets. It went smoothly and we finished 4th.
Leg 2: Start and Finish in Borovets: No particular problems, we came 5th, 1 minute behind Christophe Moine. We’re 4th overall.
Leg 3: Start in Borovets - Finish at the second camp in a wine region of Starosel.
3 specials marked this mini marathon of 320 km.
40kms into the 154kms of the second special, in the middle of a village, we had to stop for an hour. A problem with the clutch pedal, the DOT4 fluid leaked out and we had no clutch.
This evening we had the pleasure of a visit from Luis Wee of the RFC, the mythical Rainforest Malaysia. He’s has just finished an RFC selection on the Black Sea in Bulgaria.
Today’s results: 14th in the stage, but not far behind the others.
In the general rankings we’re 6th, so it’s not over yet!
Leg 4: Start Starosel – Finish in Krastevich, 15km from Starosel: 100 km in a single stage. The stage went well, despite starting in 14th place this morning.
In the general ranking: we are 5th and 4th place is still within our reach.
Leg 5:Start Starosel – Finish Krastevich, 15 km from Starosel: 65 km in a single stage, with marches, winching and marked out passages.
A short but difficult stage, we finish in 3rd place in 1h17.
Leg 6: A marathon stage of 486 km, from Starosel to Shkorpilovtsi, on the beach near Varna.
Complicated weather conditions, with rain, fog and wind, but no major obstacles. A good day for us, we won the stage.
In the general rankings we’re in 2nd place, which we will manage to keep to the end of the competition.
Leg 7: Today’s stage is 118 km. There’s only one special, which will give the teams and machines a rest. There are river passages that the spectators will appreciate. We start in first position but have to stop quickly for a puncture, caused by a stone under the right front wheel. Nevertheless we finished in third place.
Leg 8: A difficult and complicated last stage with winching and navigation loops designed to confuse the competitors. Despite the difficulties and the overlapping with the cross country, we win the stage."
