From the 5th to the 12th of December the Morocco winter challenge offers you the opportunity to take part in an authentic raid for a minimum financial investment. The essential is not to have a large team or a powerful 4x4, but to participate in an adventure in Morocco behind the wheel of an old vehicle.
The Morocco Challenge is the chance to travel 2000 kilometres across the deserts and mountains of the Alaouite kingdom without the pressure of time, because it's not a race, you fix your own goals. You can set your own budget and the "degree of adventure," as it's possible to spend the night at a campsite or a hotel.
To take part it's simple just sign up with an old vehicle that conforms to the challenge's regulations.
No other participation in a raid is required. The principle aim of the challenge is that participants make the most of this adventure. The organisers can give you advise on your fundraising, so that on can buy provisions along the course.

The Morocco Challenge has been so successful that there are now two editions: the "Spring Edition" and the "Winter Edition"!
Categories
A choice of three categories:
- Adventure: This is the original Morocco challenge category. It’s accessible to all participants, with or without experience, in a 4x2 or a 4x4. The course is on roads and tracks with a mandatory route prepared by the organization.
- Raid: The category is intended for participants with some raid experience. To take part, you must have already participated in the Adventure category of the Morocco Challenge, or prove that you have participated in any other type of event of the same level of difficulty. A route is given to you to complete the course.
- Touring:This is ideal for a first visit to Morocco. It offers the possibility of a first experience in a raid, but the course is entirely on roads, and it’s not a competition.

- Saturday 6th, December: Official start of the 2014 Winter Edition La Nucia (Spain). Administrative and technical checks in Almeria (Spain)
- Sunday 7th, December: STAGE1: Melilla / Nador - Midelt
- Monday 8th, December:STAGE2: Midelt - Erfoud / Merzouga +Solidarity Project
- Tuesday 9th, December:STAGE3: Solidarity Project - Merzouga - Zagora
- Wednesday 10th, December:STAGE4: Zagora - Ait Ben Haddou
- Thursday 11th, December:STAGE5: Ait Ben Haddou - Essaouira
- Friday 12th, December: Liaison: Essaouira - Sidid Kaouki + Prize giving Ceremony on the beach in Sidi Kaouki
- Saturday 13th, December: Free to travel back to Tangier
