Australia’s quintessential X-trem challenge!
From the 17th to the 24th of October the region of Broken Hill (Adelaide) Australia, hosts the biggest 4x4 X-trem event in the country, if not in the world.
The Outback Challenge is the meeting place for 4x4 and adrenaline addicts.
Mechanics and vehicle preparation are paramount here and winches are vital. The challenge adds up to seven gruelling days, where strategy, endurance and teamwork make the difference.
A week in hell!
Competitors, men and women from around the world, experienced drivers and co-drivers, brave the Australian outback for a week of hell.
In extreme conditions (heat, mechanical failures, exhaustion, and stress etc) they defy all the odds to overcome this challenge that attracts more and more followers!
The aims of the Outback Challenge 2014 are:
• the desire to relaunch an event that started in 1999 and quickly established itself as a world-class challenge.
• to create an adventure challenge that merits its reputation for extreme difficulty.
• to promote the values of the Australian Outback to the world.
