Description

The water pump in your 4x4 is generally robust, but it's not immune to wear and tear. Over time, the O-rings or the bearing might start to give way, compromising the seal. While there's no hard and fast rule for when to replace the water pump, it's smart to give it a once-over whenever you're dealing with the belts. If you spot any issues, it's best to replace the pump right away. A leaky or stuck water pump can spell trouble for your cooling system, leading to an overheated engine, which is something you definitely want to avoid.
