A truly fabulous rally-raid!
Formerly known as the Libya Rally, the Morocco Desert Challenge is back in style after a three-year absence!
Not only is the Morocco Desert Challenge an adventure full of surprises, with technical sections, fast plains, numerous dunes, and legendary Paris-Dakar stages, but it also offers something truly unique: 0 kilometres of liaison between the start of the first special stage and the finish of the last!
One of the features that make this rally unique is that each edition is different, innovative and better than the last, without ever losing its essence which is team spirit and camaraderie, values that are of paramount importance to the MDC!
See you in Morocco, from 21st to 30th April 2023, for a magnificent new edition of this fabulous rally raid!

The course
The stages
Technical and administrative checks will take place in Agadir on the 21st & 22nd of April.
- Stage 1 - April 23rd - 50km Prologue near Agadir.
- Stage 2 - April 24th - 250 km liaison to Plage Blanche followed by 360 km of special stages ending at the bivouac in Assa.
- Stage 3 - April 25th - Assa - Foum Zguid: 403km fast track in a military zone.
- Stage 4 - April 26th - Foum Zguid - Foum Zguid: 275 km/dunes of Erg Chegaga
- Stage 5 - April 27th - Foum Zguid - Mhamid: 338 km / Erg Chegaga
- Stage 6 - April 28th - Mhamid - Mhamid: 341 km / Oueds & Erg Chegaga
- Stage 7 - April 29th - Mhamid - Merzouga : 324 km / Mountains, fast tracks, dunes
- Stage 8 - April 30th - Merzouga - Merzouga : 205 km / Dunes and WRC tracks

For the MDC, safety comes first!
An experienced team follows the participants and accompanies the entire rally-raid caravan from start to finish.
The team accompanying the Morocco Desert Challenge is made up of 200 people, track marshals, cooks, mechanics, doctors, drivers, ERTF and Iritrack engineers, helicopter pilots, photographers, etc.
