Benjamin and Virginia are determined to turn their dreams into reality!
Their dream is to travel and they have set themselves a "Grand Deffy" a journey through Eastern Europe to Mongolia aboard their Defender 110.
35.000 kms of adventure and discovery for a year, that starts in February 2016 from Corsica!
Who are they?
Benjamin
He ‘s 31 and passionate about bikes, cooking, reading, DIY and above all travelling! Originally from Dunkirk he has been living in Corsica for 5 years.
Virginia
She’s 34 and a globetrotter. She’s already lived in 8 countries ranging from –35°c to +42°c from Lapland to Morocco.
They're on their way!

Our travellers are back at home, but only for a visit.
They’ve taken a short break to give Deffy a quick overhaul, and then it’s off to the sun!
After a summer spent in Scotland and Iceland, it’s a winter in the sun that awaits them.

A change of course!
July 2016.
One of the good things about being nomadic is being able to go anywhere you want, when you want and however you want!
Virginie and Benjaminhave changed course. They’re no longer going to Mongolia. They haven’t abandoned their dream, they will be going a little latter by the Trans Siberian route as they originally planned to do. They are now on their way back to Scandinavia after a rather disconcerting visit to Russia.
The couple fell in love with this area, and have decided to return to discover more of this magical place, once a Viking and Celtic paradise!
They plan to go back to Sweden and Iceland, and then travel to Scotland, Ireland and England.

The fundraising " common pot " was the opportunity for Virginie and Benjamin to say "see you soon" and not "goodbye" to their supporters before heading off on their adventure which will begin in Denmark.
Deffy
Is a Land Rover Defender 110 200 TDI from 1994, with:
- Converted interior,
- Complete isolation
- Supplementary fuel tank (40 L),
- + 5cm reinforced coil springs front and rear.
- 110W solar panel
- Cooking equipment and much more…
What's it about?
"If you could make your dreams come true"
Their adventure will be a journey of discovery and meetings. They hope to meet and exchange experiences along their route and immortalise them in the form of « Chinese portraits »
