This Berber proverb applies to our 4 travellers who are looking for adventure and discovery.
Jean, Hugo, Flavien and Clément are off to the Norwegian fjords, to discover the riches that the world offers us. They will be travelling in complete autonomy in a 4x4.
They have been dreaming about this journey since they were very young. They have managed to turn their dream into a reality, a feat that we admire. After Morocco last year they are now off to the fjords. A great adventure not to be missed!
They are leaving on the 16th of July, 2016, for three weeks of adventure in a Defender!

Who are they?
Jean Hugo, Flavien and Clément are four students aged between 22 and 24 from Lyon. Two are studying landscape architecture, one microbiology and one psychology.
Like other young students, they are looking for answers to their questions and they don’t hesitate in going elsewhere to find the answers.
They created a community " Quatre étudiants à la rencontre...” to exchange their experiences. Their first trip to Morocco was to meet and study the response of the local population to climate and landscape problems.
Route
They’re leaving from Lyon direction the Norwegian fjords, through Belgium, Germany, Denmark and Sweden.
The Vehicle
"Roger" is a Defender 110 from 2000 with 150.000 km, on the clock, looked after by our 4 travellers
Specially laid out to accommodate 4 people the space is limited, but everything is there:
- They can cook
- There’s a cool box
- A storage area
- and room for safety equipment, etc.
The Defender has a twin batteries with a split charge system so they can start in any circumstances.
A tent on the roof sleeps all four of them.
