Didier Picard is in charge of 4x4 charity projects at the FF4x4 (French 4x4 federation) and together with the charities "Coeur et Crampons" and "les Tortues à crampons", they organise this women’s rally for screening and breast cancer treatment. The rally takes place in the region of Burgundy Matour (Saône et Loire) from the 14th to the 16th of May 2015.
The rally uses essentially a road book and a compass, the aim being to find a maximum of markers in a minimum of kilometres. The last day is open to the public with a presentation of the participating vehicles and there will be a driving skill event.
The 2015 edition
Sixteen teams took part in this second edition of the Dames de Coeur Rally.
There were three specials: two-day specials and a night special. On Saturday the participants left from Matour. The course took them to Bourgvillain via the mountain pass of Enceins, Tramayes, and Bussière, then back to Matour. Two days of rally through the most superb countryside.
The rally finished on Saturday night with a meal for 80 people. All the profits go to the Association for breast cancer screening. The organisers are already preparing the 2016 edition!
